This is a special post. I’ve knew about Austin since, well, before he was born. I was 14 when I found out my mom was going to have another little baby – My selfish instincts originally kicked in and I was like “WHAAAAAAA? what about meeee?” (I was a teenager, you must forgive). What I didn’t realize was that he would also become my baby. There is almost a 15 year gap in our age but he has left quite an impact on me. I am now the mother of a sweet little 3 year old boy (and 1 year old girl) but I often catch myself calling my son (Caleb), Austin, especially when Austin is around. Caleb is right around the age that Austin was when I left for college. I’ve missed out on alot of time with him, afterall, I was ‘grown up’ (thought I was) and off to live on my own and he was still a toddler…..however, he is very special to me and as he gets older, we continue to grow closer. I felt honored to be able to document this time in his life as he has turned from a boy into a man, and it wasn’t until I actually loaded these images and started looking at them that I realized that. He is so smart & one of the best on guitar I have every heard – he’s been playing it for as long as I can remember. Here are a few senior photos I took on a recent trip to Myrtle Beach…
ps. dear ray-ban, i won’t be mad if you want me to shoot your next campaign….just sayin’
