Lora & Ben are the exception for me when it comes to photographs. I often do a decent amount of ‘directing’ during shoots, especially engagement sessions. Why? Most people are in love of course but not everyone is thinking about that when they’re on the spot. With a camera in their face.
This was not the case for Lora & Ben – these 2-they. just. were….. They were cute & quirky & sweet & funny & genuine & head over heels in love and I dare not change the path that they were going down on their own. I may have asked them to stand where the light hit their face just so, but what I didn’t do was tell them how to ‘be,’ their beautiful spirits shown through without any help from me – and that is because they just were….
