I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful styled shoot at The Arbors Events in Cleveland, NC. Our beautifully planned outdoor shoot became an indoor shoot after the weather would not cooperate but I think it turned out for the better! I loved so much working with all of the vendors involved in the shoot and feel so lucky to have received a SPREAD in Carolina Bride! Seeing our work in print felt so amazing!

Our style inspiration for the shoot was twofold: 1) Old Hollywood elegance & glam of the late 1920’s & 2) “The Kiss” – a painting by Gustav Klimnt during the art nouveau movement which was characterized by his use of gold leaf & bold colors & of course, romance. We wanted to use these elements (and a hint of drama) to unveil a beautiful love story by this modern bride & groom.
